Transportation

Paris and the Congress venues are easily accessible by public transportation.

There are two international airports in Paris: Charles de Gaulle in the north and Orly in the south. To reach the university from airports is more or less one hour by public transport.

Transportation in Paris
We recommend to use public transport in Paris. There is an important network and the university and airports are well served.

At your arrival, from either airport and Gare du Nord for trains from Belgium, Holland and UK, take RER B to reach Paris.

From Charles de Gaulle Airport to University Paris-Est
From Terminal 1 ou 2, take RER B (direction Robinson) to Chatelet-Les Halles station (about 40 minutes).

From Orly Airport to University Paris-Est
From airport, take Orlyval shuttle to Antony (connection with RER B)
From Antony, take RER B (direction Aéroport Ch. de Gaulle or Mitry Claye) and get off at Chatelet-Les Halles station (about 40 minutes).

At Chatelet-Les Halles station, take RER A (direction Torcy or MLV Chessy) and get off at Noisy-Champs station (about 25 minutes).
