Summer School
This activity is a proposal organised by Université Gustave Eiffel (France) and Universidade Federal do Paraná (Brazil) based on the legacy of the “Copenhagen Summer School”, held since 2003 by Gertrud Pfister.
This course is designed to create a distinctive environment for PhD students aspiring to enhance their skills in sports history and expand their professional network within the field. Engaging lectures by prominent experts will delve into specific methodological aspects and emerging topics in sports history. Additionally, participants will be able to showcase and discuss their individual research projects during interactive working sessions.
In the present year, the summer school will be held in the location of the congress just before the beginning of the ISHPES conference to allow the students to participate in both events.
